Midland Lead Manufacturers Ltd was established in 1983 and has since developed into one of the UK's major lead sheet suppliers. The basic business values driving us are simple and straightforward: we aim to innovatively manufacture lead sheet, which is quality certified by the BBA and competitively priced. What's more, customer service and responsibly running our business are at the forefront of our thinking.

Products to customers' specifications
Our current production facility includes a 13 acres site with two huge melting kettles, a casting machine and four cutting lines, where we produce in excess of 20,000 tonnes of lead sheet annually - over 400,000 tonnes over the past 25 years. Although the production of lead sheet to customers' specification (thicknesses between 0.44 up to 3.55mm) is our core business, we also supply ancillary products and are increasingly manufacturing lead-lined boards and lead ingots upon request.


Committed to quality
From the beginning, our lead sheet has been certified by the BBA to ensure our products' performance. Besides our constant commitment to providing high-quality lead products, we have also taken a pro-active approach to our environmental and health & safety responsibilities. We are BSI certified for successfully implementing both an environmental management system (BS EN ISO 14001:2004) and an occupational health & safety system (BS OHSAS 18001:2007).


Excellent delivery performance
From our centrally-located site in the Midlands, we despatch an average of 150 pallets of lead daily to destinations in the UK - and worldwide. Via our excellent network of transport partners, our delivery performance in the UK is normally two to three days (from placing your order, through production, to delivery). To further facilitate our international despatch, we've also created a dedicated area for loading export containers on site.
