Alwyn Gloves

The ancient mid-England town of Worcester has a long history and tradition as quality glove makers and craftsmen, while a number of the companies involved once exported world-wide..

Sadly, Alwyn Gloves is the sole survivor of that tradition, and owes its survival to its quality, craftsmanship and the unique lightweight Frenchseam-sewn gloves produced.

ALWYN GLOVES was founded in 1963 by the present proprietor, L F Winfield, a third generation practical glover who this year completes 68 years in the trade. The experience of the three generations spans more than a century. Les, as he is widely known, is a liveryman of The Worshipful Gloves of London (a body tracing its history back to before 1349 and still having active connections with the trade), and a member of both The Guild of Master Craftsmen and of Hereford and Worcester Chamber of Commerce.

Using only the finest quality skins from Pittards of Yeovil, our craftsmen ensure that your gloves will be a pleasure for you to own and wear. And, in the unlikely event of your purchase not meeting your expectations, our "no quibble refund policy" ensures that you can buy
