As well as our in-house design team, we commission some of the best in British design talent, to bring you some outstanding furniture. Our designs constantly evolve to reflect how you live today, whilst continuing to reflect ercol’s quality and craftsmanship. Practicality as well as looks, be it in the capacious storage of our sideboards and bedroom furniture, our ranges of occasional furniture catering for today’s electronics and lifestyles, the flexibility of our extending dining tables, the comfort of our upholstery, or the smooth movement of our recliners. What’s more our upholstery is designed so that you can replace the covers when they wear out or when you fancy a new look, through our reCover service.

A great British company, ercol has invested heavily in UK manufacturing, moving to a state of the art, purpose built new factory in Buckinghamshire in 2002. The long service of our workforce provide the skilled craftsmen needed to make ercol furniture. Caring for the environment comes naturally to ercol, with our energy efficient factory with its biomass boiler fuelled by our wood waste, our avoidance of solvent based finishes, in favour of more environmentally friendly water based finishes, and of course in the use of timber from naturally regenerative forests in Europe and America to make our furniture.
